Aeronautical Radio Operator's Certificate (AROC)

Our CASA Aeronautical Radio Operator's Certificate is a must for anyone wanting to progress commercially in uncrewed aviation. This is included as part of our Remote PIlot's License (Initial) training but can be studied separately.

For many operations, whether that be within 3nm of an airfield, flying above 400 feet or anywhere where other air traffic may be, often the carriage and potential use of airband radio is mandatory.

And if nothing else, carriage or an airband radio, and the ability to use it, vastly enhances safety and situational awareness.

Our course is one of a kind and was designed by our Chief Remote Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Managing Director, Darren Froggatt. It delivers a comprehensive online theory component, practical exercises and gives you all the information you need to pass your in-person AROC exam which we hold nationwide with our RePL courses that you can attend if you're not already on an RePL course..
