CASA Remote Pilot's Licence (RePL) Aeroplane-Class 7KG and 25KG

About the Course
A pre-requisite for this course is a CASA RePL in any category. This course consists of a theory component delivered via Live face-to-face sessions, or live via Microsoft Teams. It's an upgrade unit, so only covers the aeroplane category upgrade knowledge and practical components contained within the Manual Of Standards (MOS) Part 101 Schedule 5 Appendix 2. Usually delivered over the course of 1 day, we'll look at the theory components in the morning, followed by the theory upgrade RBKA exam, which is a multi-choice exam that will take 30 - 60 mins. Once complete and passed, we'll move onto the practical flight and flight tests. We offer two type of category upgrade. 7KG or 25KG Fixed Wing (Aeroplane Class). Once complete, your licence will be updated with your new Class approval available, usually next day, in your MyCASA Portal.

Where do we run them?
The majority of our fixed wing courses are delivered privately. The reason, is quite simply, that we need space for these deliveries. Our usual delivery venues for Multi-Rotor are not always sufficient, or safe, for the distance and speeds these aircraft fly. So, always best to contact us directly, so we can work out the best way forwards for you or your group.

I'd like my Aeroplane Class Licence, but don't currently hold a CASA RePL. What are my options?
No problem.  Due the risks in aeroplane class for newcomers, we will train you through your Multi-Rotor RePL first. Once competent in multi-rotor flight, and you have passed your exams to obtain your CASA RePL (Multi-rotor Class), we'll then transition you to Aeroplane Class.
