With significant experience in SAR during flood, fire, and multiple SAR agencies, Dronestar™ are able to offer a number of packages in Multi-Rotor, Powered Lift and Fixed Wing operations, with various sensors, in VLOS, EVLOS and BVLOS scenarios. We offer SAR Level 1, 2 and 3 which range from basic day SAR through low-light and night SAR and at SAR3, long range EVLOS and BVLOS SAR. Our courses deliver professional techniques to locate and assist in all manner of SAR scenarios both on and off-beach.
A critical component of your uncrewed aviation operations. For most pilots, the Radio Operators' Certificate is a must, and always required for all operations above 400 feet and outside of standard operating conditions. Our course delivers a theory and practical component, along with scenario-based activities and the CASA AROC exam itself. We usually combine this with your Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) course but can be taken independently.
To fly Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS), for those without an aviation Instrument Rating (IREX), CASA have a framework in place to enable this. Although restricted to Class G (uncontrolled Airspace), attaining your CASA BVLOS rating opens up a lot of opportunity to progress your uncrewed operations. Our course was designed around the actual CASA exam itself and will comprehensively prepare you for it. We also have a 'knowledge check' which is very similar to the 'actual' exam. All available as soon as you're enrolled.
